We are an Australian couple who came to Sweden for 3 months and almost 4 years later we are still here! Kingfishers Devon Rex is a newly formed cattery located in central Malmö in southern Sweden. All going well we plan to have will have 1 - 2 litters a year. We aim to breed cats of excellent type, health and temperament in solid, pointed and bi-colour. Our cattery name S*Kingfishers was registered in November 2007. The name Kingfishers was chosen after the kingfisher bird from our homeland of Australia.

Our first Devon, Morris (IC S*Röda Nejlikan’s Mellow Fellow) came to us as a foster cat from S*Röda Nejlikan’s in 2004. The birth of our daughter in July 2006 meant that Morris did not get the attention he was used to, so we decided to add to our family and we were joined by Poppy (S*Rebeldía Hailie Jade) who came to us in early 2007. In August of 2007 we could not resist adding to the family and the trio was complete when we were lucky enough to have Lola (S*Zwelaboz Bonnie Taylor) join us. We now have 3 beautiful Devons who run, play climb and jump their way through our lives. The cats live as family members and are best friends with our daughter Charlie.
